Lotgenootje Pop-Up Store: It was a huge success!
From May 19 to 30, 2026, we could be found at Utrecht Central Station, right between platforms 19 and 20. For ten days, visitors were able to get to know Lotgenootje and experience, feel, and discover firsthand what a Lotgenootje can mean for them and their loved ones.
The responses touched us deeply. People paused, shared their stories, and took a Lotgenootje home with them. It was more than just a pop-up store; it was a place of recognition and connection. Thank you to everyone who dropped by and made this experience so incredibly special!

Maandag kwam Bella bij ons. Ik sliep die nacht met haar vaster en dieper!: Normaal ben ik een paar keer per nacht wakker en nu geen een keer! Ook overdag als ze bij me zit geeft ze me rust. Ik ben er heel blij mee! En mijn man zorgde vandaag voor een verrassing: Sophie het schaapje heeft hij voor mij besteld!

Wat een geweldig konijn! Hij is lief, leuk en zacht, maar het allerbelangrijkste: hij werkt direct! De eerste dag dat ik hem op me legde, ontspande hij m'n spieren al. Ik heb jarenlang zoveel fysiotherapeuten en andere peuten afgelopen om me te helpen met mijn verkrampte spieren, het hielp allemaal weinig. En dit konijn doet het al in één dag! Is dat niet bijzonder?! Een echte aanrader dus.
Zooo verliefd op mijn schaapje! Ik slaap zoveel beter en geruster sinds ik een lotgenootje heb ik raad dit echt iedereen aan.
Meine Tochter ist ganz zufrieden mit der Katze, sie hilft ihr nicht nur beim Schlafen, sie ist auch ein guter Begleiter beim U-Bahn fahren. Das Kuscheltier hilft ihr gut zur Ruhe zu kommen. Und es ist so kuschelig weich, dass sogar ich selbst gerne mit ihr kuschel.

School is weer begonnen en dan heeft Jaxx altijd veel te verwerken. Normaal komt hij lastig in slaap maar met zijn lotgenootje slaapt hij al voor wij de kamer uit kunnen lopen. Heel erg fijn 🥰

Zelfs een geboorte taart gemaakt voor Koala 🐨 helemaal bij. Onze zoon is 11 en loopt er heel de dag mee rond. En zijn eerste schooldag is hij vol vertrouwen in gegaan en bij thuiskomst lekker ontprikkelen met Koala 🐨 en de kleine mag mee naar de winkels, auto en mee naar opa en oma.

Ik ben nu sinds donderdag 27 augustus trotse eigenaar van Lotgenootje Konijn. Ik voel mij ontspannen en geborgen wanneer ik Konijn in mijn armen heb. We hebben kleinzoon laten kieze, zijn keus viel op schaapje, elke dag spannend wanneer schaapje zou toekomen, bij ontvangs van schaapje zijn kleinzoon en schaapje onafscheidelijk beleven avonturen samen, maar slapen ook rustig lekker samen, wat een rust bied schaapje !
Vandaag is het Eva's verjaardag, dus hadden we voor haar de koala besteld, aangezien ze die ook op school hadden aangeschaft. Eva krijgt veel prikkels binnen, waarbij de verzwaringsknuffel haar helpt om rustig te worden. Dus toen ze vanochtend haar cadeau kreeg was ze helemaal verrast. Deze zal goed geknuffeld gaan worden. Wat ze nog niet weet is dat de luiaard ook besteld is, en waarschijnlijk in november zal verschijnen.

About Lotgenootje
Marien Jansen (25) has a 5-year background in healthcare. As a social worker, he came into contact with the concept of deep pressure stimulation through weighted products, which many people are familiar with through a weighted blanket.
In his role, Marien personally experienced the positive effects of deep pressure stimulation on clients and residents, but felt he missed a unique and original product beyond the blankets. After a period of research and discussions with specialists about deep pressure stimulation, Marien came up with the idea of applying it to stuffed animals.

How do I wash my cuddly toy?
The plush toys can be cleaned by hand. We recommend cleaning them with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a little soapy water. To protect the filling, we recommend not putting the plush toys in washing machines.
My Lotgenootje's head is dented, how is this possible?
This is normal and also occurs with other Lotgenootje cuddly toys. It's due to the improved quality, with the filling and weighting now more evenly distributed. The weighted filling is attached to the inside, which causes the head to sink slightly. You can gently reshape the head by gently pulling and moving it.
Will returned cuddly toys be resold?
First of all, we thankfully almost never receive returns. If this does happen, the plush toy is thoroughly cleaned and then donated. The returned plush toy is therefore not resold to a new customer.
