About Lotgenootje
Marien Jansen (25) has a five-year background in healthcare. As a social worker, he encountered the concept of deep pressure stimulation using weighted products, which many are familiar with through a weighted blanket. In his role, Marien personally experienced the positive effects with clients and residents, but felt he missed a unique and original product beyond the blankets. After a period of research and discussions with specialists about deep pressure stimulation, Marien came up with the idea of applying it to stuffed animals.
