Yes, the weighted plushies from Lotgenootje are designed to provide deep pressure stimulation, which can help reduce stress, anxiety, and promote better sleep.
For what ages are the plush toys?
The stuffed animals are suitable for both children (ages 3 and up) and adults.
What is the purpose of the Velcro on the side of the stuffed animal?
This is so that we can put the weighted insert inside! Some lotgenootjes put a nice scent in here or extra weighting of their own.
Can I return my order if I'm not satisfied?
Yes, you can return your plushie within 30 days at our expense if you are not satisfied. Send us an email at contact@lotgenootje.com with your order number and request for a return.
How do I wash my teddy bear?
The stuffed animals can be cleaned by hand. We recommend cleaning the stuffed animals with a damp cloth and a little bit of soapy water if necessary. To protect the filling, we advise against putting the stuffed animals in washing machines.
The head of my Lotgenootje is dented, how is this possible?
This is normal and also occurs with other Lotgenootje plushies. It is a result of the improved quality, where the stuffing and weighting are better distributed. The weighting material is attached to the inside, which causes the head to slump slightly. You can gently reshape the head by softly pulling and moving it.
Are returned stuffed animals resold?
First of all, fortunately, we almost never receive returns. Should this happen, the stuffed animal is thoroughly cleaned and then donated. The returned stuffed animal is therefore not resold to a new customer.
