From May 19 to 30, 2026, we could be found at Utrecht Central Station, right between platforms 19 and 20. For ten days, visitors were able to get to know Lotgenootje and experience, feel, and discover firsthand what a Lotgenootje can mean for them and their loved ones.
The responses touched us deeply. People paused, shared their stories, and took a Lotgenootje home with them. It was more than just a pop-up store; it was a place of recognition and connection. Thank you to everyone who dropped by and made this experience so incredibly special!

Gerade beim Entspannen auf dem Sofa oder beim Kuscheln vermittelt das Gewicht ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit und Wohlbefinden. Auch die Qualität und Verarbeitung überzeugen mich. Besonders schön finde ich, dass man die Tiere mit verschiedenen Kleidungsstücken individuell anziehen kann. Der kleine Elefant ist der Star in der Familie. Er ist total süß. Seine Ohren sind total kuschelig und der Blick seiner Augen zum Verlieben.
Hallo, ik ben Karin en heb sinds een goed jaar Alzheimer/Dementie. Mijn lotgenootje Elmo de hond gaat overal met mij mee, ook op vakantie met vliegtuig gaat hij mee🥰 Nu heb ik nog maar pas De Olifant Elma erbij gehaald zodat Elmoke niet alleen is als weeens niet thuis zijn. Ik ben superblij met mijn schatjes, zou ze al niet meer kunnen missen!❤️

Het schaap en hond gekocht voor onze kleindochters/zusjes van 8 en 18 jaar. Om ze wat meer rust en slaap te gunnen. En wat zijn ze schattig en zacht en de twee kilo aan gewicht voelt heerlijk. Ik overweeg om er voor mezelf ook een aan te schaffen.

Wat een ontzettend fijn maatje voor onze dochter! Ze vond alleen zijn erg moeilijk, vooral bij het slapengaan of als er een oppas was. Sinds ze haar knuffel van Lotgenootjes heeft, slaapt ze veel beter en voelt ze zich een stuk zekerder en minder alleen. De knuffel gaat inmiddels overal mee naartoe. Heel dankbaar voor deze aankoop!
Ik heb momenteel erg veel last van depressie en dat komt ik ben al 4 maal aan mijn heup geopereerd ik lig nu op een ziekenhuis bed in de huis kamer en ik best wel nog veel pijn,ikwilde vragen of u mijn luiaard nog op doet opsturen want ik heb hem al betaald en hij hoort erbij en vooral als mijn kleinzoon komt want hij vraagt er gewoon naar maar we worden er erg rustig van gisteren ben ik in slaap gevallen met de olifant op mijn borst mijn zoon vond mijn zo in de huiskamer en moest lachen maar mij heeft het geholpen ik was in slaap gevallen en ik slaap de laatste weken erg slecht dus bedank Marien
Das ist unser Pandabär,sie heißt Ling Dong Dong,wir müssen immer selber lachen bei diesen Namen. Die ist total liebenswert und wir freuen uns das sie bei uns ist.
Total süßer Elefant,bei uns heißt er Ludwig und ist zum knuddeln.Wir warten jetzt noch auf die Originale Kleidung.

Prima levering, keurig binnen 1 dag. Flap is een heel leuke olifant met grappige oren en een hele zachte vacht. Hij is ook door de overige lotgenoten al helemaal geaccepteerd. Heel blij mee!
Zo blij met deze drie. Slaap ook heerlijk met ze en heb ook overdag rust momenten met ze. Heel fijn deze knuffels scharrel bram minoes de poes en schaap edje hij is zo leuk!

Ich bin begeistert von meinem Schaf und wenn ich traurig bin, nehme ich es einfach in den Arm und fühle mich besser!! Ich habe das Gefühl, das es mir hilft!!
Beter gaat het denk ik niet worden (toch?!). Lotgenootje Olifant is super zacht, het gewicht voelt gelijkmatig en ja die oren.. dat is alles wat ik wil. Kleine olifant is om op te eten! Als ik er naar kijk, smelt ik en ze is net als de grote versie heerlijk zacht. Na een tijdje dragen heb ik met het polsbandje soms wel wat last, maar dan schuif ik even met de armpjes of neem ik een pauze :). Grote Olifant is verslavend knuffelbaar.. ik blijf nog even liggen, denk ik.

Mein Lotgenootje Schaf ist vor ein paar Tagen angekommen. Ich hatte vorher sooo lange überlegt und verschiedene Gewichtstiere verglichen. Meine Entscheidung für das Schäfchen war die beste meines Lebens. Es ist unglaublich weich und perfekt zum in den Arm nehmen. Das Gewicht ist sehr gut verteilt und das Schäfchen ist mit höchster Qualität verarbeitet. Und es hilft wirklich! Man kommt einfach zur Ruhe. Die Lieferung war super schnell und alles war sicher verpackt. Vielen lieben Dank !

Eigentlich wollten wir nur Gewichtstiere kaufen. Tiere, die durch ihr angenehmes Gewicht Ruhe und Geborgenheit vermitteln, die guttun und einfach ihren Zweck erfüllen. Was wir bekommen haben, ist so viel mehr. Inzwischen sitzen hier drei kleine Persönlichkeiten auf unserem Sofa, die irgendwie ganz selbstverständlich zur Familie gehören. Der Hund erfreut mittlerweile die Tochter in Ihrem zu Hause. Und das Verrückte daran? Man weiß natürlich, dass es Gewichtstiere sind. Aber irgendwann erwischt man sich dabei, wie man ihnen einen Platz freihält, sie zurechtrückt oder ihnen im Vorbeigehen liebevoll über den Kopf streicht. Sie fühlen sich wunderbar an. Ihr Gewicht vermittelt eine angenehme Ruhe, fast so, als würde jemand ganz leise sagen: „Alles gut, ich bin ja da.“ Und genau das macht sie so besonders. Sie müssen nichts können, nichts sagen und nichts tun. Einfach da sein reicht vollkommen. Dass sie ihren eigentlichen Zweck hervorragend erfüllen, ist dabei fast schon zur Nebensache geworden. Denn neben der wohltuenden Wirkung bringen sie uns vor allem eines: unglaublich viel Freude. Was uns besonders begeistert, ist diese wunderbare Mischung aus Qualität, liebevoller Gestaltung und dem Gefühl, etwas wirklich Besonderes in den Händen zu halten. Man merkt, dass hier nicht einfach irgendein Gewichtstier entstanden ist. Manchmal kauft man etwas, weil man sich davon eine bestimmte Wirkung verspricht. Und manchmal bekommt man ganz nebenbei etwas geschenkt, mit dem man überhaupt nicht gerechnet hat: ein kleines Stück Glück im Alltag.
Mijn allerliefste Poppy heeft mijn collectie grote lotgenootjes weer compleet gemaakt! ik heb C-PTSS en Autisme en ik ben super dankbaar voor mijn lotgenootjes. zonder slaap ik écht niet meer. Ik haal ontzettend veel rust uit het gevoel van een knuffel en dat krijg ik bij deze lotgenootjes ook echt!
Al heel mijn leven problemen met slapen en paniek aanvallen en heb de diagnose C-ptss met bijbehorende klachten. Sinds mijn lotgenootje slaap ik beter en als ik paniek aanvallen heb ben ik eerder rustig. Mijn beer Hope gaat overal heen zelfs de operatie kamer op geweest. Kan niet wachten op mijn luiaard. ❤️
Ich bin soo glücklich mit meiner Lotti 🥰. Wenn wir Abends auf dem Sofa kuscheln kann ich den Stress des Tages vergessen und in der Nacht Schlaf ich auch wieder besser . Es fühlt sich wirklich so an als ob dich jemand umarmt.
Heb hem nou een paar dagen en ben er nu al aan verknocht. Maakt mij rustiger en laat mij de aanwezigheid voelen. Zowel in bed als overdag. Door de zwaarte van de knuffel en de grote friemelbare oren geeft het een ontspannend effect
hij is vanaf dag een mijn vriendje waar ik van geniet,ik vind hem mooi zacht en de bewegelijke armpjes en beentjes zijn leuk,ik heb er dus een nieuwe aaibare vriend bij, zijn naam is Buddy.
Der Koala ist einfach süß. Er kam gut verpackt an und hat überhaupt keinen Geruch. Ist kuschelig weich und das Gewicht verteilt sich im kompletten Koala gleichmäßig. Seine Latzhose ist gut verarbeitet, kann bei 30 Grad gewaschen werden und es wird bestimmt nicht das letzte Kleidungsstück für ihn sein. Mein Koala wurde auf den Namen Umina getauft. Der Name bedeutet sich ausruhen/schlafen.

Moin! Habe wie viele andere auch gedacht das es eher für Kinder ist. Aber Nachts ist er nicht nur eine flauschige Unterstützung, sondern auch eine gute Armstütze. Wenn man nicht weiß wohin mit seinen Armen oder etwas Beschäftigung für die Hände sucht um einzuschlafen ist er ein Treuerbegleiter. Durch das Gewicht kommt es einem vor als würde man Nachts jemanden Umarmen. Ich habe ihn noch nicht lange, aber ich finde er ist jetzt schon ein guter Begleiter, wenn sich kurzzeitig mal die Angst und die Panik ankündigt. Ziehe ihm demnächst noch was von meinen Kindern an, als sie Babys waren (body usw.) So hat er noch eine emotionalere Bindung für mich.

About Lotgenootje
Marien Jansen (25) has a 5-year background in healthcare. As a social worker, he came into contact with the concept of deep pressure stimulation through weighted products, which many people are familiar with through a weighted blanket.
In his role, Marien personally experienced the positive effects of deep pressure stimulation on clients and residents, but felt he missed a unique and original product beyond the blankets. After a period of research and discussions with specialists about deep pressure stimulation, Marien came up with the idea of applying it to stuffed animals.

Yes, you can return your plush toy within 30 days at our expense if you're not satisfied. Send us an email at contact@lotgenootje.com with your order number and request a return.
How do I wash my cuddly toy?
The plush toys can be cleaned by hand. We recommend cleaning them with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a little soapy water. To protect the filling, we recommend not putting the plush toys in washing machines.
My Lotgenootje's head is dented, how is this possible?
This is normal and also occurs with other Lotgenootje cuddly toys. It's due to the improved quality, with the filling and weighting now more evenly distributed. The weighted filling is attached to the inside, which causes the head to sink slightly. You can gently reshape the head by gently pulling and moving it.
Will returned cuddly toys be resold?
First of all, we thankfully almost never receive returns. If this does happen, the plush toy is thoroughly cleaned and then donated. The returned plush toy is therefore not resold to a new customer.

What's in the stuffed animals that makes them so heavy?
The cuddly toys contain small glass beads that provide a weighting effect. These are safe and approved according to the European CE mark.
